Artists, writers, filmmakers and digital content creators recently gathered at Barnagar College, Sorbhog (Assam) to discuss the promotion of the Kamrupi dialect through literature, cinema, art and digital media, highlighting efforts to preserve this important linguistic heritage.

About Kamrupi

• Kamrupi was the earliest form of Aryan (Indo-Aryan) speech in Assam.
