A Message from the Programme Director

Welcome to Ajmal IAS Academy.
Choosing to prepare for the Civil Services is one of the most important decisions you will make. It is a path that demands discipline, patience, and a genuine desire to serve society. Whether your goal is to join the Assam Civil Services through the APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) or to serve the nation through the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) as an IAS, IPS, IFS, or other Civil Services officer, your preparation deserves the right academic environment and consistent guidance.
At Ajmal IAS Academy, our objective is straightforward—to provide quality APSC coaching in Assam and UPSC coaching that helps students build strong fundamentals, develop analytical thinking, and prepare with confidence.
Having spent more than 25 years in teaching and mentoring competitive examination aspirants, I have seen that successful candidates rarely rely on shortcuts. They build concepts, practise regularly, analyse their mistakes, and stay consistent over time. Talent matters, but disciplined preparation matters more.
This belief shapes the academic approach at Ajmal IAS Academy.
Our courses are designed to help students prepare for every stage of the Civil Services Examination. Classroom teaching is supported by answer writing practice, current affairs discussions, mock tests, doubt-clearing sessions, and individual mentorship. Every component is planned to help students understand the examination, not simply complete the syllabus.
We have also invested in creating an environment where students can focus entirely on their preparation. The academy offers air-conditioned smart classrooms, a well-equipped library, carefully selected reference books, digital learning resources, online classes, hostel facilities, and a structured mentoring system. These facilities are not additions; they are part of a learning ecosystem that allows students to study with continuity and purpose.
Our faculty members bring experience, subject knowledge, and a commitment to teaching. They encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and approach every topic with clarity rather than memorisation. We believe that meaningful learning comes through discussion, practice, and continuous improvement.
Preparing for the APSC or UPSC Civil Services Examination is not only about securing a rank. It is about developing the judgement, integrity, and sense of responsibility expected from a public servant. These qualities cannot be developed overnight. They grow through consistent effort, good guidance, and the willingness to learn from every challenge.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our respected Trustees, Maulana Badruddin Ajmal and Mr. Sirajuddin Ajmal, whose vision for expanding access to quality education made Ajmal IAS Academy possible. Their support has enabled us to build an institution dedicated to helping aspiring civil servants from Assam and across the North East pursue their ambitions without compromising on academic standards.
To every student considering Ajmal IAS Academy, I want to say this: your background does not determine your future. What matters is your commitment to learning, your discipline, and your determination to keep moving forward. Civil Services preparation is a demanding journey, but with the right guidance and sustained effort, it is a journey that can lead to extraordinary opportunities.
All of us at Ajmal IAS Academy are committed to supporting you with honest guidance, structured learning, and a learning environment that encourages excellence. We look forward to being a part of your journey towards a career in public service.
I wish you every success in your preparation and hope to welcome you to the Ajmal IAS Academy family.
Warm Regards,
Rahul Swaroop
