| Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest diseases in the world. It hides until it is too late and easily resists normal chemotherapy. For years, scientists struggled to block a specific protein (GIPC1) that helps these tumors grow, simply because the protein has a flat, slippery shape that normal drugs cannot stick to.
Enter Sravathi AI, a Bengaluru-based startup, which teamed up with America’s famous Mayo Clinic. Instead of doing years of trial-and-error in a lab, they used advanced Artificial Intelligence to scan thousands of chemicals and design a custom drug in just 5 months.
