The Assam Start-up and Innovation Policy 2025 provides another layer to this ecosystem. It is applicable for 2025–2030 and provides an institutional framework involving Assam Startup – The Nest, zonal innovation hubs, institutional innovation cells and tinkering laboratories. 

The idea is to move from isolated financial assistance towards an ecosystem where an entrepreneur can receive incubation, mentoring, innovation support and market opportunities.
