In a major step toward improving judicial access and transparency, the Gauhati High Court Kohima Bench has become the first High Court bench in the Northeast to launch its own official mobile application, called the GHCKB App. 

• The app was formally launched by Justice Ashutosh Kumar, Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court, in the presence of other judges and officials.

  • Daily cause lists, Live-streaming of court proceedings, Real-time case status, Court display board updates, Access to High Court & district court websites, Latest notifications, and a dedicated WhatsApp update channel
• It can be downloaded from the Google Play Store, and is backward-compatible, meaning it works on most devices.
