  • It connects Guwahati and North Guwahati, reducing travel time to just 7 minutes.
  • Key features:
    • Base isolation technology using friction pendulum bearings for seismic safety.
    • High-performance stay cables for durability.
    • Bridge Health Monitoring System for real-time structural safety.
  • It is the first extradosed bridge in Northeast India.

Digital and Education Infrastructure

  • Inauguration of the National Data Centre for the Northeastern region at Amingaon.
    • Sanctioned load: 8.5 megawatt.
