Relevance: GS II (Governance) & GS III (Economy)
A prime land parcel in Aizawl, earlier occupied by the Assam Rifles for more than a century, has been transferred to the Mizoram Government. The State has announced plans to redevelop the site under the Aizawl City Beautification Project as part of the Lammual Master Plan.
