About the Udyamita Abhijan Scheme

  • Objective: To promote self-employment and micro-entrepreneurship among rural women through SHGs.
  • Initial Support: ₹10,000 as seed capital in the first year.
  • Second Year Support: ₹25,000 (₹12,500 as government grant + ₹12,500 as low-interest loan) after productive utilization.
  • Third Year Support: ₹50,000 for successful beneficiaries meeting the required conditions.
  • Expected Earnings: Women entrepreneurs can earn ₹25,000–₹50,000 annually from sustainable ventures.
  • Beneficiaries: SHG women engaged in weaving, food processing, dairy, livestock rearing, organic farming, and handicrafts.
