The Prime Minister inaugurated Safran Aircraft Engine Services India, a major Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Hyderabad. The French aerospace firm Safran has invested over ₹1,200 crore, making it one of the largest foreign investments in India’s civil aviation services sector.

Dedicated to servicing LEAP(Leading Edge Aviation Propulsion) engines, widely used in Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX fleets.
Planned capacity: over 300 engine shop visits annually.
