Context
The Indian Space Research Organisation is set to launch the BlueBird Block-2 communication satellite on 24 December 2025 using the Launch Vehicle Mark-3 from Sriharikota. The mission is undertaken as a commercial launch for the United States–based company AST SpaceMobile, through NewSpace India Limited, India’s space commercialisation arm.
