On the occasion of World Immunization Day (Nov 10), AIIMS, Guwahati inaugurated the first-ever Adult Immunization Clinic in the Northeast region — a pioneering step to promote lifelong vaccination and strengthen preventive healthcare.
About the Initiative:
The Adult Immunization Clinic aims to provide evidence-based vaccination and counselling for adults, focusing on protection against vaccine-preventable diseases beyond childhood. The launch aligns with the global theme, “Immunization for All is Humanly Possible.”
