The Government of India has launched “Yuva AI for All”, a national initiative to build basic Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy among school students aged 14–18 years, enabling youth to engage safely and meaningfully with AI.
What is Yuva AI for All?
A free, foundational AI-learning programme designed to introduce students to:
- Basics of Artificial Intelligence, responsible use, and common tools.
- Simple hands-on tasks on image, text, and speech AI.
- Ethics, safety, and digital responsibility in AI use.
- Interactive modules available in multiple Indian languages.
- Implemented through the Ministry of Education and CBSE.
- 3–5 hour self-paced digital course.
- Includes project-based learning and real-life AI scenarios.
- Issues digital certificates upon completion.
- Part of India’s broader AI Skilling Framework.

- Makes AI accessible to millions of students.
- Bridges digital divides; aligns with NEP 2020 focus on future skills.
